What better place to begin… than with self-belief.
It’s something I talk about with my clients every single week.
And if I’m honest… it’s something that has ebbed and flowed throughout my own life too.
Am I smart enough to succeed in my career?
Am I brave enough to leave Ireland and move to England?
Will I be good enough as a parent?
The questions didn’t stop.
They just changed shape as life moved forward.
By the time I reached my mid-40s…
I found myself in a place I know so many people quietly sit in.
I had stepped away from my career as an Area Manager in retail to be more present for my children — something I will always value.
But somewhere along the way…
I lost direction.
Not as a mum.
But as me.
I didn’t know what I wanted next.
I didn’t know what I was capable of anymore.
And if I’m honest… my confidence had taken a step back.
Then something shifted.
A friend mentioned a course in solution-focused hypnotherapy.
She told me how much she loved it.
How aligned it felt.
How it would build beautifully on the counselling I had already studied.
And this time…
instead of just nodding and thinking “that sounds nice”…
I did something different.
✨ I took action.
And that was the moment everything began.
Omara Hypnotherapy was born from that decision.
Not because I felt completely ready.
Not because I had no fear.
But because, for the first time in a long time…
The possibility felt louder than the doubt.
I made a choice.
To stop listening to the voice that said
“What if you can’t?”
And start leaning into the one that quietly asked…
✨ “What if it all goes well?”
I’ve always had incredible support around me — especially from my husband, who has always
believed I can do anything I set my mind to.
But here’s what I’ve learnt:
❤️ That belief has to come from within first.
Because no matter how many people believe in you…
it only truly shifts when you begin to believe it too.
Through this journey, I’ve learnt how to support my own mind.
I’ve learnt how to recognise my thoughts,
how to shift them, and how to use tools like self-hypnosis to create calm, clarity, and direction in my everyday life.
And now…
I get to share that with you.
